Santam To Launch New Home Insurance Product |

May 10 - Santam is set to launch their new short-term affordable home insurance product aimed at low income earners. Santam MultiHome will initially be offered to Soweto residents and will then be rolled out country-wide thereafter. MultiHome will enable an entire underclass of low income earners that predominate in South Africa to consider and ultimately purchase home insurance. Computer Science Software, known as CSSoft, has been chosen to provide the software that will be used in the administration of MultiHome policies. The software is known as PROFIDA Administration Edition. Santam is one of the largest insurance providers in South Africa and their increased commitment to the less privileged is a signal that the rest of the insurance industry is sure to notice and act upon.
