December 11 - Santam, South Africa's biggest short term insurance company, is now offering its clients a helpful and comprehensive risk management service that has been designed to source safety products and features on their behalf at discounted rates. The risk management service is part of Santam's ongoing drive to promote risk management solutions to its clients as well as reward those who are proactive in managing their risks in terms of home and business, vehicle, and personal safety. Said Santam spokesperson, Margaret Massie, 'The objective of our risk management service is to offer our clients peace of mind and a more rewarding and hassle-free life by advising them on the positive actions they can take to minimise their daily risks. 'In doing so we want to educate our clients into seeing short term insurance as a lifestyle option to make their lives safe and easier, as opposed to a grudge purchase, which is in line with our brand promise,' she said. Santam is actively promoting its risk management through widespread marketing and PR campaign, which kicked off with a national Extreme Risk Management competition. This has been followed by a risk-reduction offering where Santam will assess people's homes, vehicles or small businesses for safety, security and structural risks to ensure that they have taken out the correct coverage.
