November 26 - Mutual & Federal Insurance have improved on their service by opening up a new multi purpose center in Cape Town.
The new location, situated in Montague Gardens, will replace the old center in the city's central business district, which has been closed down.
"The capacity of our previous facility eventually proved inadequate as it was limited to only handling motor assessments and a few inspections," said the General Manager for Claims Operations at Mutual & Federal, Heid Dias.
The new dual claims center is strategically located adjacent to Dals Express, which has provided services to the insurance group in the past.
Assessment and repair of vehicles that have suffered minor damage and only need cosmetic repair can be done on the spot in the new multi purpose center.
Those who need more substantial repairs will be able to choose from a list of Mutual & Federal approved businesses.
Besides assessment and minor repairs, car owners will also be able to register their car and non-car claims at the center.
Car assessments don't take longer than three quarters of an hour, and inspections ahead of policy changes can also take place on site.
This is the third Mutual & Federal center to get an improvement in the past few years.
Facilities in Cresta and Benoni also received substantial facelifts and attract very satisfied drivers.
