May 25 - The annual Insurance Institute of South Africa Conference is set to
be held next month, and the group is calling for those who are interested to
sign up long before the June 5th closing date.
The IISA 2009 Conference is a must-attend function on the insurance
industry's social calendar and anybody connected to the industry is urged to
check out the schedule.
This year's conference will be held at Sun City from 28 - 29 June, 2009 and
organizers say that accommodation is running out fast.
Speakers at this year's event are as follows:
- Peter Miller (President and Chief Executive Officer of American
Institute for CPCU and Insurance Institute of America)
- Ian Kirk (Santam Chief Executive)
- Steve Lennon (Eskom Managing Director of Resources and Strategy)
- David O'Brien (Old Mutual Head of Retirement Reform )
- Mike Hofmeyer (Willis South Africa Chairman)
- Steven Raubenheimer (South South North Director)
- Andy Andrews (ISIE Business School)
Gavin Sharples will act as Master of Ceremonies for the IISA event.
Opening and closing comments will be given by the current President of the
Insurance Institute of South Africa, Nash Omar, and the former 2008/2009
President, Anton Ossip.
Attendees and their partners will also be able to enjoy leisure activities
that have been built into the conference's timetable, including golf, gambling
and a much awaited welcoming cocktail party.
