July 3 - It's an unfortunate truth that the majority of insurance scams begin with unscrupulous and unethical insurance agents. Not all insurance agents are dishonest by any means, but if you're going to get ripped off with your insurance chances are it will be by an insurance broker. The easiest way to avoid all this unpleasantness is by following the old adage: "Prevention is better than cure". We cannot stop these guys from preying upon gullible suckers, but we can stop ourselves from becoming a target. Take your insurance into your own hands and don't use a middleman in the first place. Avoid dealing with insurance agents and deal only with reputable, big insurance companies that allow you to contact them directly.
